Brewbound reports: Tickets Selling Quickly To QC Brew Fest 2014

On Saturday, February 1, 2014, ACEing Autism will host Queen City Brewers Festival (QCBF) at its new home: the Silver Hammer Studios at the NC Music Factory. Both sessions (1-4pm and 6-9pm) are nearly sold out, as tickets went on sale less than a week ago on Dec. 5th.

“Guests will experience Charlotte on Tap at QCBF,” said event organizer Nils Weldy.  The festival showcases Charlotte’s craft-beer identity with invites exclusive to Charlotte-area breweries and brewpubs, craft beer-focused restaurants and bottle shops. Each brewery and exhibitor will serve a variety of its beer and/or food for guests to sample, and are encouraged to bring one “super” flavor or style of beer, especially for QCBF, as the event takes place the day before the NFL championship. Works by local artists and live music will be on hand during each of the two tasting sessions.

QCBF benefits ACEing Autism and will help launch clinics in Charlotte which use the sport of tennis to connect with children with autism.
