ACEing Autism Charlotte To Host Upcoming Tennis Clinic

A chance to get outside and enjoy the fall air by playing tennis. ACEingAutism relaunched in-person programming and the final tennis clinic is coming up. Nils Weldy, Regional Director for ACEing Autism. He joined us on QC@3 to talk about this upcoming event. 

Nils tells us ACEing Autism is a specialized tennis program, specifically for children on the Autism spectrum. He says the children range in age from 5 to 18 years old. Nils tells us these clinics are designed especially for these kids, providing physical fitness and social skills. He says the children are typically paired with two volunteers. Nils tells us the clinics are 6 weeks and they cover the basics of tennis. He says they are a lot of fun.

The final clinic will be Saturday, November 7th.
